Borussia Dortmund have demanded an apology from all football fans who have criticized Jadon Sancho in recent years after he impressed in their Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.

The England international has shown his best form since returning to Dortmund on loan after a disappointing spell at Manchester United.

Sancho finished 12 games against PSG, with only Lionel Messi taking more control during the Champions League semi-final against Man Utd in 2008.

On social media, Dortmund insisted that fans who criticized the 24-year-old now had to show an apology.

A post-match post from the BVB account read: “Everyone owes him an apology, we always know his match.

Sancho's ability was evident during the transfer window between Dortmund and Man Utd before he signed with the Red Devils in 2021 for 73 73 million.

However, after scoring goals and assists at Signal Iduna Park, Sancho struggled for stability during his first two seasons at Old Trafford and made just three Man Utd appearances in 2023. / 24.
