Alisson to return at the end of April – 1xBet Cambodia

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he expects goalkeeper Alisson to return from a hamstring injury before the end of April.

Alisson has been out of action since February after suffering a muscle strain that forced him to miss his last international break with Brazil.

During a meeting with fans at the Klopp training center, he was asked to update on Alisson's return to the team and he revealed that the 31-year-old is close to returning.

“About two and a half weeks,” Klopp said. “It's not like Diogo Jota anymore.

The Liverpool goalkeeper can be expected to return to the starting line-up in late April.

Liverpool will face Brighton & Hove Albion in their return to the Premier League on March 31 before taking on Sheffield United and Manchester United in the first week of April. Crystal Palace, Fulham, Everton and West Ham United are all on schedule before May, with Alisson likely to return for the Toffees in the Merseyside Derby on April 24.

The first leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-final between Liverpool and Atalanta will take place on April 11, with Alisson ruled out, but a speedy recovery process could see him available for a return. On April 18, if all goes well.

Curtis Jones is expected to return from injury for Brighton this weekend, but Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota also face a few weeks off before returning.
