Man Utd boss Ten Hag confirms meeting with Ratcliffe

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed that he shook hands with Sir Jim Ratcliffe this week.

The INEOS owner is in Carrington as part of a discussion with club staff about his takeover proposal.

Ratcliffe INEOS is one of the two main bidders, the other being the Qatari royal family.

Qataris met with United staff the day before while the players and coaches were in Spain for the Europa League match against Real Betis.

“I just met them and shook hands, but I was focused on the game against Fulham,” Ten Hag told reporters on Friday.
Others in the club are dealing with this potential investor.
